Preparing for the launch of the new ACMEBoston website this week! Check out updates to the Create, Educate, and Mobilize pages. I've also added an RSS feed from Media Policy Blog on the right hand column of the website and added new links at the Links page.
Soon their will be the ACMEBoston Digital Media Gallery, where people can share their digital media works. Tasha from Creative Narrations has submitted pieces for the gallery. If you have made media that questions, challenges, and provides alternatives to corporate media and images, please consider sharing your work at ACMEBoston.org!
Also added, is a space that will soon feature "How-To-Guides for Independent Media Making, Education, and Activism": step-by-step guides created by ACMEBoston members, media educators, and local organizations for learning how to create media and make your voice heard!
ACMEBoston, CCTV, and Media Policy Blog are moving forward this week with plans for a local Media Policy Reform Working Group. Over the coming months, we will hold a series of monthly meetings for people to come together, learn about policy issues, and take action on upcoming legislation that could threaten the ability of individuals and communities to have a voice in the media and in their community. If you would like to get involved, check back here at the ACMEBoston Blog soon to find out the date and time of the first meeting at CCTV!
Use this space to share your comments on these recent changes and ideas you may have about the website or about ACMEBoston!
